Refund Policy

Our Resource Exchange Philosophy

At andhr, we approach financial exchanges through a deeply neurodivergent lens. While traditional business models treat refunds as customer service transactions, we recognize them as complex intersections of resource allocation, cognitive processing differences, and mutual respect for sustainability boundaries.
This policy honors the reality that our team pours significant neurodivergent labor into creating resources that simply wouldn't exist otherwise. We've crafted these guidelines to sustain our mission while acknowledging diverse financial processing needs.
 

Digital Resource Exchanges
Individual Resources and Downloads

Due to the immediate accessibility of digital products, all purchases of downloadable resources, toolkits, guides, and digital materials constitute final exchanges with no refund eligibility. Once these resources enter your digital ecosystem, the value exchange has been completed.

Membership Subscriptions

Membership subscriptions represent ongoing access to our evolving resource library rather than ownership of specific content. These subscriptions:

  • Process as non-refundable payments for access during specific time periods

  • Can be canceled at any time to prevent future charges

  • Generate no prorated refunds for partial usage periods

  • Terminate access at the conclusion of the current billing cycle

 

Service-Based Exchanges
Fractional HR Services

Our fractional HR engagements involve substantial behind-the-scenes preparation uniquely tailored to your organizational context. These services:

  • Operate under separate service agreements with specific terms

  • Require 30 days written notice for service discontinuation

  • Include no refund provisions for services already rendered

  • Follow the payment schedules outlined in individual contracts

Consultation Sessions

Individual consultation sessions represent dedicated expert time allocation and preparation. These appointments:

  • Must be rescheduled with minimum 48-hour notice

  • Convert to non-refundable credits with 24-48 hour notice

  • Become non-refundable if canceled with less than 24 hours notice

  • Cannot be refunded after completion regardless of outcome

 

Workshop and Training Investments
Virtual Events

Our virtual workshops and training sessions involve significant advance preparation and capacity planning. These events:

  • Allow transfers to another participant at no additional cost

  • Permit rescheduling to a future session when available with 7+ days notice

  • Convert to non-refundable credit with 3-7 days notice

  • Become completely non-refundable with less than 3 days notice

In-Person Events

In-person gatherings require substantial advance resource allocation for venues, materials, and staffing. These investments:

  • Allow participant substitution with 14+ days notice

  • Permit one-time transfers to future events with 14+ days notice (minus a 25% administrative fee)

  • Become non-transferable and non-refundable with less than 14 days notice

  • Include no refund provisions for no-shows regardless of circumstances

 

Administrative Process
Timeframe for Requests

All exception requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of purchase through our designated channel at refunds@andhr.co.

Required Information

Exception requests must include:

  • Original purchase confirmation

  • Detailed explanation of circumstances

  • Any supporting documentation

  • Preferred resolution pathway

  • Resolution Timeline

Our team will review exception requests within 10 business days and communicate decisions through your preferred communication channel.

 

Legal Framework
Processing Methods

Any authorized refunds process through the original payment method unless technically impossible.

Currency Considerations

All refunds process in the original currency of purchase at the original purchase value regardless of currency fluctuations.

Processing Fees

Third-party processing fees (payment processors, financial institutions) remain non-refundable under all circumstances.

Chargeback Consequences

Initiating chargebacks without first attempting resolution through our exception framework will result in immediate account suspension and permanent ineligibility for future services.

Our Sustainability Context

While traditional refund policies center customer satisfaction above all else, this approach ignores the precarious reality of neurodivergent-led organizations operating in systems designed for neurotypical business models.

Each resource we create emerges from lived experience, specialized expertise, and countless hours of neurodivergent labor. Our refund framework allows us to continue this essential work without compromising our organizational sustainability.

We appreciate your understanding that limited refund provisions don't reflect a lack of care for your experience—they reflect the necessary boundaries that allow our neurodivergent-led team to continue creating resources that simply wouldn't exist otherwise.
